Slide Girl Lyrics
Chorus:Slide girl. She's wearing blue. That's what the slide girls do.
And then we met Steph, from head to foot dressed all in blue.A thirty foot slide on the wall, you can't hide, and we knew.
She's wearing blue. That's what the slide girls do.
Chorus
Blue,blue,blue,blue,blue.
In blue was a guy we wanted to try to include. So we had to decide that the guys could be slide girls too.
When they're wearing blue. That's what the slide girls do.
Chorus
Blue,blue,blue,blue,blue.
Though it seem strange, the words always change as we go along. The people we see wearing blue constantly become part of this song.
When they're wearing blue.Just like the slide girls do.
Slide Girl.[x4]
Blue,blue,blue,blue,blue.
Blue,blue,blue,blue,blue.

The thing about this song is that, though the lyrics are kind of lame, the band changes them to fit members of the audience whenever they perform live.Anway, there's a nice little backstory behind this song. The band[Lost and Found is their name,by the way]was playing at some kind of Christian convention and two huge banners had been set up on either side of the stage for lyrics to be projected on during the songs.Unfortunatly, someone had lost the lyric sheets, and the video projector guy, unable to think of anything else to put up there, projected a slide of one of the girls in his youth group on the banners for the entire week-long convention. The band never even found out who she was until the last day of the convention, when they met up with her.Her name was Steph and,as you can probably deduce,in the slide she was wearing a blue dress.Incidentally, the Slinky isn't a lyric that the band sings.During that part of the song, George[one of the two members of the band]plays a slinky. You heard me,he PLAYS A SLINKY.Anyway, the crowd is encouraged to make the sound along with him, which is impossible,or scream "Slinky!" if they can't.Hence, the Slinky.
I want to correct my earlier statement. The slinky thing is from Lost and Found's classic "Lions".I don't know HOW I got the two mixed up.
