Unrequited Lyrics
Don't
Wake
Me
I'm
So
Empty
I
I
I
Tried
I'm
Sorry
I've seen you without me
I've seen you without me
- Guitar solo -
You can say what you want
I've seen you without me
I've seen you without me
I've seen you without me, I know that you'll understand
I've seen you without me, I know that you'll understand
Aaa, aaa, aaa, aaa, aaa, aaa, aaa, aaa
Wake
Me
I'm
So
Empty
I
I
Tried
I'm
Sorry
I've seen you without me
I've seen you without me
I've seen you without me, I know that you'll understand
I've seen you without me, I know that you'll understand

An incredible song, Therapy?'s finest, I think. Such incredible emotion, too, without wanting to sound like an emokid. And yeah, I think the title tells you all you need to know about the meaning.
Some other stuff I forgot to add: This song reminds me of the Smiths 'Girlfriend In A Coma' in some ways, mostly because of the relative simplicity of the lyrical structure, and the strings. Plus, this was one of only two songs that made me cry (ahem, yeah, I'm not an emokid at all. Not a single bit. Better not point out that the other song was 'Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence' by Glassjaw, hm? Oops)
beautiful song simply about unrequited love and depression. shit made me cry- i mean hmm? what?
fun fact: the line sung towards the end "I know that you will understand" is sung by producer Chris Sheldon. i always thought it was Fyfe.
