This song is about five vikings going into a village, killing all who live there, and destroying the buildings. Then they go and have brunch at Bennigan's.
Why is the "no christian woman left unraped" line left out of these lyrics? It's the best part of the song!

One of their most underestimated songs.
Directed at everyone who romanticize lyrics like this and refrain from really giving it some thought.
Replace "warriors" with "mujahedeen" and "gods" with "god" and the lyrics suddenly doesn't sound so cool any longer, right?
Still an awesome song, just interpret it with some common sense.
I want to add a few things. First of all Amon Amarth is not anti-christian though they are not pro-christian either what hegg is doing in all of their songs is painting a picture of true vikings who believe in asgård and asarna. Second, i believe this song is continuing of ride for vengence, and part of theese vikings lack for mercy, the only son who was slain by the men of the single god. i believe this is why they rape the women and burn the churches. However this only my interpretation
