this is an amazing song, and what makes it even better is that it's by the ramones..

althought this song is not original, as it was originally done by the Ronettes, it is one of very few songs which i actually prefer done by the ones who copied it. The voice and music are both superb for this song. i first heard it on an advert here in the UK for the yellow pages about this boy with glassed growing up and eventually getting married, etc. does anybody remember that??? its in my top20 songs ever and is definately one of the best love songs ever written i think

I remember the Yellow Pages advert. Probably the 1st time I heard this. I LOVE it so much I had it as my wedding song. If you're looking for a wedding song then you'll find none better. The whole wedding party clapped along with the entire song as we danced to this and I thought my heart would burst with happiness. Much better than the usual 'slow' love songs for wedding. When I listen to it now I always cry. It's such a simple song and it's perfect!

I love this song and it's a perfect love song, and I agree wiv the person who said that its good for a wedding song, the ramones are one of my ultimate fave punk bands nd this song rocks!!
