Glad To See You Go Lyrics
Gonna take a chance on her
One bullet in the cylinder
And in a moment of passion
Get the glory like Charles Manson.
Gonna smile, I'm gonna laugh
you're gonna get a blood bath
And in a moment of passion
Get the glory like Charles Manson.
You gotta go go go go goodbye
Glad to see you go go go go goodbye.
Now I know the score
I don't need you anymore
Don't want you cause you're a bore.
I need somebody good
I need a miracle
Should I take a chance on her?
One bullet in the cylinder.
Gonna smile, I'm gonna laugh
They're gonna want my autograph
And in a moment of passion
Get the glory like Charles Manson.
You gotta go go go go goodbye
Glad to see you go go go go goodbye
Goodbye.
One bullet in the cylinder
And in a moment of passion
Get the glory like Charles Manson.
Gonna smile, I'm gonna laugh
you're gonna get a blood bath
And in a moment of passion
Get the glory like Charles Manson.
You gotta go go go go goodbye
Glad to see you go go go go goodbye.
Now I know the score
I don't need you anymore
Don't want you cause you're a bore.

"Glad To See You Go" was written by Dee Dee (lyrics) and Joey (music) about Dee Dee's ex-girlfriend Connie Gripp. Connie was a heroin-addicted stripper who constantly fought with Dee Dee, and once stabbed him in the ass with a broken bottle. According to Arturo Vega, after their last fight, Connie stormed out cursing at Dee Dee, and Dee Dee yelled out the window: "I'm glad to see you go!"
cool, im the first person to put something for this song! yeah! this song is okay. hmmm...lets see, could it be about charles manson?

WHAT IS IT THAT HE SAYS AFTER GOODBYE IT SOUNDS LIKE "MANSON"?
Er ... boy, did I have the lyrics all wrong! Applause, please -- I thought it was "one poor little silly girl" not "one bullet in the cylinder".
I think it's about glorifying violence (he's going to shoot everyone and people are going to want his autograph) and about the way criminals are elevated to celebrety status, and are sort of "worshipped" for the bad they've done.
its about the girl, who, when dee dee wrote this song, happened to be his girlfriend and she was like this junkie stripper or sumthing
I covered this song and dedicated it to a former friend who turned against me
thank God she's moving to Signapore in 10 days...
and a little shout-out to her;
"You're gonna want my autograph!!!!"
Glad to see her go.
I think Connie was the girlfriend in "Chinese Rock," too.
According to the book Please Kill Me, Connie was a prostitute, not a stripper.
Everything that is shining within envelopes the beauty of this perfection
