"I Don't Wanna Walk Around With You" was written by Dee Dee as an offshoot of the first punk song he ever wrote, called "I Don't Wanna Get Involved With You." The Ramones played both songs in their earliest shows in 1974, although "Involved" was never recorded. The "I don't wanna" theme is a negative joke on "I Wanna Be Your Dog" by the Stooges, one of Dee Dee's favorite bands.
i think it was about Connie, dee dee's psycho stripper girlfriend (the one who stabbed him in the ass with a broken bottle once). but its a great song, its catchy, nice beat.
