Is It Really Lost? Lyrics

Long way from where I'm supposed to be, well at least that's how I feel. Alone and lost, I'm a wondering fool, and yet you're standing right beside me. I'm searching for a lost cause, but every so often that cause is found. When I find why I'm with you, I smile and look toward our future. Another night, I'm right where I want to be. My smile is endless as I think of you. Alone but not lost, I know where I'm headed. I walk towards you and you greet me with a long kiss. I know my cause is not lost. The search for you is over, except this time it won't go. I'll keep it right here next to me. And when I find I've gone astray I'll ask myself "Is it really lost?"
