Isn't this song about suicide? I feel this while looking at the lyrics, like it's been written about someone who's been trying to live as much as possible, maybe fighting with his inner demons, but it became too hard for him and eventually he just gave in.
Haunting melody. This is one of the prettiest doom metal songs ever recorded.
One thing that Katatonia do best is write depressive songs that don't cry out for attention. Good song.
