We Must Bury You Lyrics
We had you down on your knees
we were kicking you in the head
we tried to hang you from the trees
we didn't stop until you were dead
we must bury you
we must bury you
we must bury you so deep
that noone should find you
forgive me for covering my eyes
forgive me for not saving you
forgive me for being so unwise
forgive me for letting this
be true
we were kicking you in the head
we tried to hang you from the trees
we didn't stop until you were dead
we must bury you
we must bury you so deep
that noone should find you
forgive me for not saving you
forgive me for being so unwise
forgive me for letting this
be true

The emotion in Jonas's voice in this song is utterly outstanding.
The only Katatonia song I don't like..
Not a real strong song, but the opening guitar riff gets stuck in my head.
I think the lyrics is about things that may happen when "group thinking" takes over. Suddenly you are in the hands of a group and you don't stand up for your ideals because you are afraid what the group would say/do and/or think about it.
