Must Be Dreaming

Rather than go into some detailed description of what the lyrics mean I will just say this. I love the song, and I think that Frou Frou is an excellent artist. The first time I heard this song was to an amv, and later that night I put the song into my winamp playlist so we could hear it while I was giving my girlfriend a massage. (great music to give a massage to by the way) It was a beautiful night as is every waking moment that I am with her. Anytime I listen to this song, along with many others, I think of her. Beautiful.

Whenever I hear this song, I always think of a very sudden, unexpected love. What I mean is that the narrator has certain things she wants from her significant other/their relationship - and that is what she is used to. However, she suddenly finds herself being swept off her feet by someone who completely defies all of the standards she has set for herself, making her feel like the whole thing is like a dream because she never stepped outside the boundaries she set for herself boundaries — never fell “in love lawlessly”. She finds herself happy and wants to “undeniably” belong to her partner; however, there is always a lingering worry in the back of her mind that something will go awry.

Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly dooreatoe, the girlfriend comments were way too harsh... songmeanings can be personal interpretations to. This song is beautiful. It's obviously about falling in love. frou frou = awesome.

It shows, as dooreatoe already pointed, that the "love seems like a beautiful dream, but thankfully is a beautiful reality." However, the chorus expresses some sort of doubt, showing how she knows that she doesn't fall in love so lawlessly, so what is happening? She's so caught up in this surreal bliss that she turns to say, "As long as I'm losing it so completely," which in my mind translates to her saying that it may be a dream or it may be reality, but whatever. I'm yours and however long this wonderful phase lasts, take me.

The constant references to flying shows her dream-like state and how her spirit is way up high in the clouds.

It's like she's in eternal happiness with this guy and everything is so beautiful. She thinks that she must be dreaming because she's in a euphoric state never felt before.

The girlfriend comments were a bit harsh, but true. This song, as well as most other Frou Frou songs, is excellent in many different ways. I don't know much about them but I really love them.

great anime video got me into this song and of course i was obsessed with \'let go\'

Even though the story was seemingly unnecessary, the harsh, rude comments did not belong either, making the authors of those hypocrites And there was nothing "sickly" about what he said, unless you're not into human/human contact.

I defend the first comment because if you read into it a bit, it represents the song perfectly.

Michi apparently loves this girl completely. She's "undeniably" his, and he is "undeniably" hers. The love seems like a beautiful dream, but thankfully is a beautiful reality.
