This song seems like it was written about the girl in the Primal Scream song also titled "Velocity Girl," but going a bit further post "vodka in her veins"

It's about falling for a drug addict. I love how the note sort of lingers at the end of 'Just wanna stay here in your arms', and then when they repeat it near the end... beautiful.

can't get over this song. the guitars, gary's soft voice and the lyrics. this song makes me high. it's about a girl he obviously loves but can't be with her because they'll just destroy each other.
It's a song about a little spitfire. She moves fast... Maybe she thinks quickly or learns quickly. This guy is just dying for her to slow down and be cuddle with him. It is a really cute song.
