why do i get the feeling this song isn't about a biological sister? am i just tripping?
I would imagine John intended it to be about women in general, or in fact, people in general. I love this song, and I love sharing the lyrics of this song with friends. It's a great way of telling someone you are there for them no matter what!
i relate to this song so incredibly much!! and i think in the first verse hes saying how much shes grown and hes tried to protect her but she doesnt so then he goes onto say basically you can make your own decisions and if u need help ill be here.. but i wont push u
I absolutely love this song. Every time I hear it, I always cry. My brother lives far away from me, and we always grew up so close to each other. It helps me realize that even though he lives across the country, he is still and will always be there for me no matter how far away he is.
