Q&A
They Came To Boston Lyrics
They came to Boston on their vacation,
They came, they saw, they annoyed me.
They saw it all,
What! Fanueil Hall!
It's best if they just avoid me.
Rented a car to see the sights,
They found the Hub confusing.
Looked for the Swan Boats in Mattapan.
Well, I find that real amusing.
I was here before they came, I'll be here long after.
Don't want to share, but it seems clear that I'm gonna have to.
They came to Boston for an education,
Live in the dorms, join a frat,
Jam my bars and subway cars.
Now, what the fuck is that?
Spend year one having fun,
And causing aggravation.
Spending daddy's cash on a toga bash,
When the hell's graduation?
I was here before they came, I'll be here long after.
Don't want to swear, but it seems clear that I'm gonna have to.
They came, they saw, they annoyed me.
They saw it all,
What! Fanueil Hall!
It's best if they just avoid me.
Rented a car to see the sights,
They found the Hub confusing.
Looked for the Swan Boats in Mattapan.
Well, I find that real amusing.
I was here before they came, I'll be here long after.
Don't want to share, but it seems clear that I'm gonna have to.
They came to Boston for an education,
Live in the dorms, join a frat,
Jam my bars and subway cars.
Now, what the fuck is that?
Spend year one having fun,
And causing aggravation.
Spending daddy's cash on a toga bash,
When the hell's graduation?
I was here before they came, I'll be here long after.
Don't want to swear, but it seems clear that I'm gonna have to.

oh fucking well, bonita. another awesum bosstones oldy. kool horn part...ExCxFxU!
Huge throngs of college kids coming into Boston and exploiting everything the Bosstones cherish and adore.
Not just that though johnc... just how there are the people that actually live in Boston, and then the outsiders (college kids, tourists, whatever)... the natives don't like the outsiders, since the outsiders come in, don't get a real understanding of the city, then just move on with their lives, but the natives just have to deal with it... doesn't mean they're not pissed though.
I think if there was a lost verse it'd mention something about the Boston commuters tying up I-93 and I-95.
my god what stupid lyrics! their fuckin elitism! like, someone's gonna dirty up their precious city? like their fathers bought them that city and noone else can come and play? jesus...
if they wanna see no tourists and people moving in they should go live somewhere in the mountains among trees and animals and no one will fuckin bother them
i love bosstones, don't get me wrong, but this is just plain stupid
