This is such an awesome somg! it actually was the first ska song i had ever heard, it influenced my musical taste for the better! the lyrics are pretty straight foward,a guy comin' home to an empty appartment not knowing what happend to his lady. that sucks,but it makes for a pretty cachy song!

this song...choice material. the entirety of it just teleports me back to when I was 14 years old, it's amazing. i was way into music like this back then, and it's amazing what one song can kick up in a person's memory.
as for what it means, it was already pretty much summed up by stereo...but i just had to comment. the power of music! as for where she went, he doesn't know...which says a lot. how crappy is it when someone 1) disappears, and 2) doesn't even care enough to let you know to where or why for? a lot.
Gotta love it.

Stereo fan pretty much summed it up, but I'd just like to add a little nuance I think I caught in the lyrics. I might be wrong, but towards the end, where the lyrics go:
“Thought about the last few years/ I lost control, I screamed, I cried/ I punched a pole and went inside”
That part always made me feel the song is actually about someone suffering from dementia/Alzheimer's who has forgotten their significant other has passed away and comes home, expecting to see them there. But maybe I'm just overanalysing.
Love that song, though!
