They specifically talk about one thing that is marked with sin and will conquor the earth. That is Satan who was cast into an abyss in Revelations of the Bible. Satanswizard has it close. The Christian genocide is what he calls it, but it is Satan putting humanity in chaos and disorder, causing misery. The Christians will fight back, but will be tempted more than ever to join Satan and Satan's forces.

They are pagan as hell, but not satanic. They simply use antichristian and occult imagery. We all know that only a few truly religiously satanic bands exist, among them Gorgoroth.

Actually, you morons, Ihsahn is extremely Satanic. He has his own brand of Satanism thouh he was interested in LaVeyan Satanism when he was younger.
Read "Lords Of Chaos". There's a long interview with Ihsahn where he says all of this for himself. Emperor aren't pagans and never were; Burzum and Enslaved are pagan bands, but Emperor and other bands like Dissection are actually Satanic.
This, of course, is not a bad thing. Unless you're a hardcore Christian.
Actually, Ihsahn used to be a Satanist, but he no longer is. In the documentary "Metal: A Headbanger's Journey," Ihsahn says something to the effect of:
"I don't consider myself a Satanist anymore, and I haven't for quite some time. I've moved way beyond that."
To me he's realized that religion, in any form, isn't necessary, and that we as humans have the power to create change in the universe without a dogma to back us up.
As for the song, it is written to where it sounds as if it is about Satan coming to rule the earth, but since Satanists (for the most part) don't believe that Satan really exists, it is more than likely a symbolic reference to Ihsahn himself, or for anyone who follows their own will, especially those which go against society's norm.
