I just downloaded this song.... I'm not sure who was talking (I believe it was Chester), he said that he wrote this song hoping to become a star one day.

This song is phenominal, the pain can only reach Chester when he is awake. So when he is asleep or he has drinken himself into a stupor, his life is fine. I can totally relate, sleep is an only escape...
I love this song and it's lyrics, I really hope that it is on the next Linkin Park album. I want to listen to this song over and over again wherever I want, but can't because it's not on a CD and I don't have mp3. PUT THIS ON THE NEXT ALBUM LP!

I think this song is awsome.It's simple but if you hear what Chester actually wrote it about you really understand the meaning because the song totally fits it. By the way nice job LP on Pts. Of Athrty!
This song is about drownding your pain in substance abuse. You think that it will take away all feeling, and that pain, but all it brings is more problems. I've been through this, I almost killed myself with drugs and alcohol...all because i thought it would clear up and take away my problems. I learned from my break down that you can't run away or cover up your problems.
