Caught up against the wall again
Time to chill in the bar again
Never seize to amaze the night
So I just sleep sleep sleep please dont
Wake me till the morning after
Wake me till the morning after

Cut and bruised by the fall again
Lick my wounds like a dog again
Is that a light at the end of the tunnel
That I see I see please let it be but dont
Wake me till the morning after
Wake me till the morning after
Wake me till the morning after

Im so tired there has got to be an end
to the pain I feel when Im
awake and alive alive alive alive
and Im dreamin

Caught up against the wall again
Time to chill in the bar again
Is that a light at the end of the tunnel
That I see I see please let it be but dont
Wake me till the morning after
Wake me till the morning after
Wake me till the morning after

Im so tired there has got to be an end
to the pain I feel when Im
awake and alive alive alive alive
And Im dreamin

This song is about drownding your pain in substance abuse. You think that it will take away all feeling, and that pain, but all it brings is more problems. I've been through this, I almost killed myself with drugs and alcohol...all because i thought it would clear up and take away my problems. I learned from my break down that you can't run away or cover up your problems.
