Skastar Lyrics

we're growing up now, not mentally physically. a buncha goofballs express ourselves musically. we're out of time and without a dollar to spare and i know i'm in for lots of shock and dispair,

but all you little people seem so far
i don't need you anymore cause i'm a rockstar---
and i know it'll be alright,
'cause i'll be on stage tonight.

come from a town where losing's become quite a fad, stereotypes might make you think that we're mad. but we play ska cause it makes you feel good inside, turn your frown upside down, you've got no reason to cry.

but all you little people seem so far
i don't need you anymore cause i'm a rockstar---
and i know it'll be alright,
'cause i'll be on stage tonight.

I guess being a musician takes a lot out of you... including money. These guys know they might not make it anywhere, but as long as they are on stage, they are happy. And being from Buffalo, I can totally agree with the first line in the 3rd verse... so true! I love wathcing the guys perform this song- when they play the chorus they get these funny little smirks on there face. :)
