Just because you live on your own watching porn in your underwear and eating cold baked beans out of a tin all day doesn't mean you should take out your lonliness and bitterness on a kickarse punkrock band with brilliant lyrics and superb songs. Anyway, yeah this song kicks some serious ass and, overall, is pretty self-explanatory.
I think at the beginning at least it's about the frustration he feels at the music industry as a whole ("Depressed by the smiles, all the phonies, and the fakes") and touring in particular ("Depressed because everything's so far away").
The machine in the third line could either be the band's van or the industry "machine" or one as a metaphor for the other.
