I think it is pretty plain that he kills the girl in the park. You've gotta listen to the whole album which is called Brave Murder Day and this is the only track sung with clean vocals in it, the others are growled.

I consider this track the most brutal metal song I've ever heard. Over a decade has passed, it stills send shivers down my spine. Jonas and Anders are geniuses, I cried when I was at Katatonia live performance.
