I cant believe no-ones commented on this yet! it rules. such a beautiful song. i think faye wong would have sung it better but hey... nobuo uematsu is a genius! I've been obsessed with his work since i played ff7 and he just keeps getting better. hot on the heels of yasunori mitsuda(composer for chrono cross, again VERY beautiful music) uematsu is my main inspiration. too bad you cant buy this stuff in ireland (which is where im from and currently reside) i have to import it(which costs ALOT of money) or download it(which also costs ALOT of money coz i dont have broadband!)
Yeah, this song is pretty good. I really like the Japanese Version, which I can half-understand, but I can't stand the English Version which just sounds so very weak. Get the Japanese Version if you can. The very best FF main music, just being better than FF8. The song's meaning is simple if you've played the game: A person who remembers the love of another through memories, and that's what keeps her going.
Great song, makes me cry when I see it in a Final Fantasy 9 video.
Such a beautiful song from my favorite Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy IX. It makes me cry every time. In my opinion, I think this song is about making a friendship with someone that was thought was going to be perfect, but actually, just wasn't meant to be, but you'll remember that friend in your heart forever.
