Yeah, I love this song too. To me it talks about falling in love (obviously) and the love that two people can share... most couples refer to their boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife as being their "better half." This song is saying that you're basically lost without your better half, and a life with half of you missing isn't really a life at all. Beautiful song.
