This is actually my favorite song on her CD. To me, it means that you should go after a love you well, love, regardless of what people say. It's okay to make mistakes, especially if you're only 17 ;)
ok...this song is about a girl, who wants to give herself to a guy, and she knows she was always taught not to, and to be careful and stuff..but she's sick of being a good girl..she wants to take risks..she's ready to make mistake's and learn her lessons just like all the other 17 year olds...she's sick of worrying about everythign and is just ready to let loose

I can't believe nobody's pointed out the blatant sexual meaning of this song.
Most of Mandy's songs can be interpreted sexually.
In this one, she wants to have sex with this guy because she feels he's the one, but everyone's telling her to wait 'till she's older and all that gibberish. She's not listening though, because she's young and she should be allowed to make mistakes, especially when "it feels right and it feels good".
"I just want you tonight, not just only in my dreams" means to me she's tired of fantasizing about doing it, and wants to make love to this guy tonight.
Great song. I'll be turning 17 soon, so I'll likely have this song on repeat because of the more generalized meaning of being able to make mistakes while you're young because you've "got time to grow up".
