A New Medicine Lyrics

a new medicine
electrical
a new medicine
big shock, yea

sick boy
walks in a void, ask anyone
sick boy
said i just wanna live
gotta get my head all fixed

a new medicine
electrical
a new medicine
big shock, yeah
a new medicine
shaking on your floor
i just decided
i just decided, i want to

sick boy
say it's all the rage, tell everyone
sick boy
has big sick dreams to find a real sick girl

a new medicine
electrical, oh
a new medicine
big shock, yeah
a new medicine
shaking on your floor
i just decided
i just decided i want to

anything
i'll try anything twice

a new medicine
electrical, oh
a new medicine
big shock, yeah
a new medicine
shaking on your floor
i just decided
i just decided, i want to

I think this song is about a lost boy who found a new high, a new drug, that he has to tell everyone about.

But that high might be too much for him to handle.

Don't just take my word for it, but to me it sounds like someone deciding to treat their depression with shock treatments. It used to be a method to help depression, its still used but not as much.
