Kill Hannah is all about a dark and frantic desperation, a burning in one's heart that time just won't quench...sadness, anger, despair, and hope (yes, hope) all thrown into a fire together. Being alone even as a crowded world is passing you by. And this song is one of Kill Hannah's best and most frenetic. Absolutely bone-chilling.
i think it's about a stereotypical high school jock and all he want's IS sex 'all that he wants is a minute with her', but the girl is afraid and not ready. And when the dude that gets the car and hot wires it sees this, he can't understand why the 'jock' would do that and freaks out and just wants to get away from unbelievable foolishness.

This song isnt about some guy who wants sex, it's about this boy who's young and alive and SO in love with this girl. He wants to whisk her away out of their town, and go whereever the highway takes them.

After much deliberation, I've decided this is probably my favourite Kill Hannah song. Actually, pretty much my favourite album.
This song was written about Hannah, the crazy girl Mat Devine was in love with when he was younger. All he wanted to do was take her away from their simple lives, to somewhere they could be together in love.
I don't think it's about Hannah (considering it came out four years after they broke up). But substitute another girl in, and I think you've got the gist of it.
