Someday I'll Say Goodbye Lyrics
She spoke to me in a soft voice, offering words and images of extreme beauty, warm hands gripped my heart, blood covered lips they whispered, and assured me that all we have left is just you and I.
(this song done with acoustic guitar and piano)
..quote from Basketball Diaries.." You're growing up, the rain sort of remains on the branches of a tree that will someday rule the earth, that's good that there's rain, it clears the month of your sorry rainbow expressions, and it clears the streets of the silent armies, so we can dance.."

"she spoke to me in a soft voice, offering words and images of extreme beauty"
Doesn't this song create beautiful imagery. The picture in my head is so vivid. This song may be a little to real for me, a reminder of feelings long gone.
Also, the quote from Basketball Diaries is classic.
Is this missing some lyrics? It sounds to me like somewhere in there it says "I wrap myself myself in a blanket of death" or something... as well as some other stuff I can't quite make out. Is it just me?
Yeah...it's missing lyrics. The part in question says, "Wrap myself in a blanket of tears."
That would be Absence you're talking about, the track that immediately follows Someday I'll Say Goodbye.
