While We Breathe

All I see is impending disaster, losing track of the goals that we're after. I'm not alone I've always seen it in everyone. The years go by but we don't grow bolder. Our eyes leap from a face that grows older. Our hearts dream for the chance to show us just how life is done. I'm sorry, but its over-I don't want to feel this way. I don't want to be my own enemy. I want to fight the causes of our sorrow, not just to be at work tomorrow. I want real freedom; I won't belong to anyone. I'm sorry but it's over, I don't want to be this way. While we breathe we can always remember that we, are still living. Don't want to waste my life, waiting for a moment, I'm not gonna wait until it's over. I don't want to find I'm waiting for the door. And I don't want to find out that I've wasted my only chance to make a difference, and not just feel sorry. And we can't deny the things we've been and we can't deny the things we've seen, but in all those moments right or wrong we can say we fought for everything. Don't want to waste my life, waiting for a moment, I'm not gonna wait until it's over. I don't want to find I'm looking for the door. I'm not gonna wait until it's over.
