This song is really just...so sweet. It's a very marriage-oriented song. I think it speaks about two people who have been together simply forever, and even if they wanted to leave each other, they couldn't.

Normally, when obligations enter the picture, people wind up resentful. This is a song that speaks positively about obligations to love.
