When the spoon is hot
And the needle's sharp
And you drift away
Oh, oh I can hear you say
That the world in black
Is upon your back
And your body shakes
So you ditch away
And you close the shades

Don't try to do it
Don't try to kill your time
Oh, oh
Yeah, yeah you might do it
Then you can't change your mind
You've got a hold on to your time
Till your break through these Times of
Trouble

When you try to talk
And the words get hard
And they put you down
Don't you stay
Don't you ditch away

I saw you swinging
Yeah swinging your mother's sword, oh
Yeah, yeah I know you're playing
Sometimes the rules get hard, oh
But if somebody left you out on a ledge
If somebody pushed you over the edge
You got to hold on to your time till you break
Through these times of
Trouble

I saw you swinging
Yeah, swinging your mother's sword oh
Yeah yeah I know you're playing
Sometimes the rules get harder oh oh
But if somebody left you out on a ledge
If somebody pushed you over the edge
If somebody loved you and left you for dead
You got to hold on to your time till you break
Through these times of
Trouble

Stargazer was the ew ugly witch who murdered Andy who was actually Christ. Look into this. Her name is Xana La Fuente aka Roseana Patricia Trujillo and she got Andy too high with evil calculated intent, then locked him in a vehicle in the garage and turned the exhaust fumes on and locked the door. She was a witch who was connected to the Zeena LaVey Baptism of the Church of Satanism in the 80's, lied to Chris and Andy and did this because she wanted Chris and because Andy kissed her sister after she continually cheated on him a bunch of times and he tried to get away and give her a taste of her own medicine. Chris didn't want her at ALLLLLLLLLL. She swindled both of them and Chris loved Andy more and fucking found out that Andy was Christ and lied to Chris and Andy and then Chris ran away from this cunt forever wouldn't marry her - she complained a bunch over the internet about him not putting her on the guestlist for his Temple of the Dog tour - annoying murderous CUNT who fucking killed CHRIST for a stupid love spell and revenge - blasphemy and sacrelige on the highest level and NOT OKAY. Then, because Chris wouldn't put her on the guestlist for the TOTD tour in late 2016ish - or continue a relationship with her and ran and married other women instead and loved Andy more and wouldn't put her on the freakin guestlist - she spelled him to hang himself after Chris was brave enough to face that time of his life with that tour again to love and support ANDY. sooooo if you love Chris Cornell, Andy Wood, God or support Christianity or TOTD or Malfunkshun or Mother Love Bone or Soundgarden or Audioslave or love their music in any way - REPORT THIS WOMAN. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT. BUT I THINK SHE LIVES IN SANTA FE NOW AND WATCH OUT HER UNCLE/RELATIVE IS ON THE FORCE IN THAT TOWN PROTECTING HER FUCKED UP LIES. SHE KILLED ANDY (CHRIST) AND CORNELL. LOOK INTO IT. SHE'S STILL ALIVE - LOOK INTO THIS SHIT, RECOGNIZE & CALL THE GOVERNMENT. I keep trying to but it's kind of a wacky story sooooo....help from a brave soul would be freakin' fantastic. GET THIS CUNT.

So this has been.my favorite song of OTEP's since it came out in 2004, and I always thought it was a song about a child's narrative of suffering in an abusive Christian home. But now that I am revisiting the lyrics, I am seeing something totally new. This song could be gospel of John but from the perspective of Jesus. Jesus was NOT having a good time up to and during the crucifixion. Everyone in the known world at the time looked to him with fear, admiration or disgust and he was constantly being asked questions. He spoke in "verses, prophesies and curses". He had made an enemy of the state, and believed the world was increasingly wicked and fallen from grace, or that he was in the "mouth of madness". The spine of atlas is the structure that allows the titan to hold the world up. Jesus challenged the state and in doing so became a celebrated resistance figure. It also made him public enemy #1. All of this happened simply because he was doing his thing, not because of any agenda he had or strategy. And then he gets scourged (storm of thorns) There are some plot holes here but I think it's an interesting interpretation.

Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"
