Aisle 10 (Hello Allison) Lyrics
(1st verse)
I seen you at my job,
your carrying yourself so well,
I made myself a promise,
not to get emotion-el,
as I remain stable,
I take another glance at you,
if we were at the disco whoa whoa,
then I would have to dance with you,
this isn't cool....
(1st pre chorus)
and in my lonely eyes,
I see my self in eloquent strides,
in a sharp tuxedo,
here goes nothing to her.....
(chorus)
Hello Allison
I want to hold your hand,
I haven't been,
the same man since I saw you comin' in,
let's have a toast to the girl in aisle 10
(2nd verse)
I seen you about a quarter after nine,
you shine in the neon sign,
where are you from?
you float in like an angel of night,
into my life,
and leave me with a song to write,
and now I'm loaded,
holdin' my sack and wonderin' where she is at,
with a line of customers gettin mad,
they didn't see what I seen,
the store queen,
made everything easier for one fine eve....
(2nd pre chorus)
and in my bloodshot eyes,
all I can see is everything's fine,
with a turning stomach,
runnin' thoughts through my head...
(chorus)
(3rd verse)
you came in here again,
I'm drinking by the copier,
I made myself a promise,
that I would finally talk to her,
as I remain stable,
I take another drink for you,
I set it on the table whoa whoa,
I'm sure I look a drunken fool,
I'm seeing two.....
(repeat 1st pre chorus)
(chorus)

I heard this song 2 years ago and I thought it rocked. When I was in the cd store a couple days ago I saw The Clockstoppers soundtrack and it had one of thier songs on it. I got so excited haha and I had to d.l as many songs as I could. It took me awhile to do the lyircs, I really hope I didnt mess them up!
Haha... My friend/coworker Mike starts singing this everytime I walk into work.
I heard this song about 2 years ago too. It still annoys me to this day. It's not my style of music at all, and I just find the lyrics to be really corny. But I do love the name of the band.
Truly an excellent tune. Nice little pickups on the repeats. If you've taken the time to comment on it, you know it rocks. Let's have a toast to the girl in Aisle 10!
i cant believe that anyone would not like this song....it rocks my world!
this album is like everlast... but good
the album this song is on is called OKIEBLOW its kinda hard to find, but if you can find it BUY IT. You wont regret the money you spent
I own both Scapegoat Wax CDs (Okieblow and SWAX), they were an Amazon last year with a few private seller accounts, both were around a dollar. One of them is a promo-only copy, which is kind of funny. I got into them after playing Jet Set Radio Future and hearing Aisle 10.
Well, Obviously it's about that chick we've seen that we wanted to bone immediately, no deep spiritual meaning, just a sappy fun crush song.
Kinda sad this song passed into oblivion. It's quirky off-tune sound mixed with an idea that really hasn't been done before (the girl at the supermarket?! c'mon!) equals what should be a successful song. Maybe the world just wasn't ready for it yet.
