They Will Return Lyrics
Rhythm of wings in the sky so high
Music in my ears I can't wait to see
I' m hiding in the grass death in my hands
Surprise is my only defence
My private war against wilderness
Human mastermind versus animal instinct
And when the flock settles I pass my sentence
But none will die after the report
They rise into the air and fly away
[Chorus:]
But they will return
And I am all alone
Yeah, they will return
Then I will revenge
[Chorus:]
Still some day I'm hiding again
Waiting for the sound of stroking wings
And they will come spirit within
And in same place I miss them again
They rise into the air
And fly away
Yeah, they rise into the air
But...they will return!
Music in my ears I can't wait to see
I' m hiding in the grass death in my hands
Surprise is my only defence
Human mastermind versus animal instinct
And when the flock settles I pass my sentence
But none will die after the report
But they will return
And I am all alone
Yeah, they will return
Then I will revenge
Waiting for the sound of stroking wings
And they will come spirit within
And in same place I miss them again
And fly away
Yeah, they rise into the air
But...they will return!

Duckhunting..?
LOL as odd as it sounds it sounds a hell of a lot like duckhunting.
yeah it does sound like duck hunting. like they shoot the ducks, then the ducks fly away because of the sound of the gun, but they come back a little later on. maybe not ducks but some kind of bird.
It's about going after your goals and the importance of optimism and persistence despite failing over and over again. Here he is failing in his goal: "But none will die after the report
They rise into the air and fly away"
But he remains optimistic: "But they will return"
Then he tries and fails again: "Still some day I'm hiding again Waiting for the sound of stroking wings And they will come spirit within And in same place I miss them again"
Despite his repeated failures he stays optimistic and he knows that he'll just have to keep trying over and over again until he's successful: "They rise into the air And fly away Yeah, they rise into the air But...they will return! "
I think this is probably one of their most inspiring songs.
It is about duckhunting.
they're swamp metal therefore this song is about duckhunting
