This song is I think a love song about a man being madly in love with a girl but neither has the courage to express their love to each other.

There is actually a part of the song which Big Mountain neglected which starts like this "If I leave here tomorrow, will you still remember me..". This part of the song changes everything. This song gives me the impression of a boy and a girl falling in love at a beach during a holiday but the boy doesn't want to settle down. He wants to see the world so he leaves the girl. Kind of sad actually.
