This song is beautiful- it's about how the human race is so smart in so many ways-- we can go to the moon, climb the highest mountain, and send photographs back from mars, yet there are still people starving, there's a hole in the ozone layer, and we are cutting down oxygen providing trees in the rainforest and other places, also killing innumerable other living things. He could add to that now with polluting the shit out of the world and using up it's resources, and dramatically attenuating the soil quality. So no hippie-chick it's not about him and his dad, sry.

we're so enchanted how clever we are - why should one baby feel hungry? a beautiful song from julian lennon about the human race thinking they are so smart and ingenious, can walk the moon,and what not, but destroying the little rock on which we are living, which makes him cry - saltwater in my eyes.
