this song was written by paul in while in india after hearing a lecture by the Maharishi Yogi. John also wrote a song with a similar subject, but Paul's was picked for the white album.
i love this song. its so close to nature and makes me think about enjoying just BEing. i imagine sitting in a field and noticing every little thing - the bugs, the leaves, the clouds. it reminds me to appreciate the little things in life.

This song means so much to me, I can't believe it only has a few postings. When life seems so hectic, this song takes me to a place that I hope to sometime be - a place where there is a peacefulness and a oneness with nature.
