i think it is quite refreshing to hear songs not about love, I think the best songs are not about love and if they are, not cliched about it which is virtually impossible

Ditto, dashchick..you basically said what I was just about to say. It's great to finally hear a song that's reality for many young people now-a-days. Love is definitely overrated.

i love this song. i think it's about a long distance relationship that goes bad, and going home to visit. "And I know all of the good things won't just reappear" too true...if only all of us thought w/ that kind of clarity

I think that songs about love are great, even though it's a cliche, because they seem to always be the most passionate song. But if there's a song that's not about love and with alot of passion in the performance and in the writing, then that's awesome also.
