Soulfire Lyrics

Every morning as I wake to another day
I bow my head hit my knees and I begin to pray
I search for answers that I wonder if I'll ever find
Running circles in the mazes deep inside my mind
You always take me to a higher level
Show something that's deep inside
You show me things I never knew

You push me you pull me

You set my soul on fire
You take me so much higher
Higher again
Thank you for it all

Everyday living this life not knowing what it means
Consolation from above fulfilling all my dreams
And as I look across the crowd in their eyes I see
All their troubles and their pain staring back at me
You always take me to a higher level
You show me something that's deep inside
You show me things I never knew
You push me you pull me

You always give the best for me
Lift your hands high right where I can see
You always give the best for me
Lift your hands high right where I can see

Yeah, I agree with both of you.

Jesus Christ is both the love of my life and my religion.

in response to remaininsane, its not about his love for his religion. its about his love the Lord Jesus Christ. they are two totally different things.

what's with the 'you push me you pull me'? in terms of lyrics purely

apart from just lyrics, why the 'shouting' at that part and the thank you part i don't think it would spoil the song without shouting but i'd certianly think it'd be better. Their style seems to constantly repeat itself and i read they are kinda like linkin park, and i agree. Linkin park also has repeating patters anyway. But i'd hope their singing fits it with what they are saying, like shouting only if the effect is needed to emphasise particular lyrics at a certain part. If they are truly a Christian band (i'm not saying they are not, i'm just not sure), then i think lyrics should come first. it doesn't have to be that extreme though, with like no rock tunes. I just think the singing should fit a little bit more appropriate with the songs' meaning than currently.

Maybe i'm missing something. But if not, that's what i feel.

This is my fav 12 Stones song!! I used to play this track in my friends cars cuz i didn't have the big 11 or whatever song demo, i only had the 5-song. These kids have come a long way and i'm very proud of what they've accomplished. They bring positive music to people in an amazing way! Ya'll go buy the CD and support the kid from Mandeville (represent the hometown!) and the rest of 12 Stones.

ok, not sure if any of ya'll have been to a 12 stones concert, but if you have you know this is the song that they come out to...everytime.

The reason they come out to this song is because it is about THE FANS!!! The fans get him so pumped up (push him pull him). The Fans show him things inside of him.

Yes, he is thanking God for the fans.

12 Stones is not a typical Christian band. While they do have songs that refer to religion they are not based on that. How come no one calls Metallica christian rock when a few of their songs are referencing God. BTW, only one song actually mentions the word Lord or God.

i think this song is about a guy living life and not knowing what to do about it, and i think he might be talking to himself, and he is going crazy...thast why he's thanking himself.
