Angel Holograms Lyrics
Always learn from history
To be sure you make the same mistakes again
Dig with bare hands or a silver spoon
But never change the masterplan
The face of god
In velvet black
The skies are full of angel holograms
London bridge is burning down
My fifteen minutes seem like fifteen years
As time goes by we slowly rot away
It happens here and now and everywhere
To be sure you make the same mistakes again
Dig with bare hands or a silver spoon
But never change the masterplan
In velvet black
The skies are full of angel holograms
My fifteen minutes seem like fifteen years
As time goes by we slowly rot away
It happens here and now and everywhere

First of all I love this song, it is a gripping commentary on the whole rationality project of western civilization - we learn from history, our place in the "master plan". Never to rebel against the institution but only hum about injustices as rape, drugs and crime.
So the skies become full of "angel holograms", meaningless phrases and hollow lies about how great things really are. These good things, like freedom of speech or religion, are infact nothing to do with our day to day lifes. It's really quite an angry and discontent lyric.
