So I almost got it right! But I just kept her singing "you're only a ghost or a monster",and that could be my crazy mind.But I'm almost sure that the last line of the last verse is "the sun shone bright on her day,though it was late".Makes sense.But you know English isn't my first language so I can be wrong.
I'm pretty sure it was "you'd thought it were spring". I think there's an error earlier on, though; I'm pretty sure it goes "Hope and superstition had (or have?) your heart's permission..."
