i love this song. it's so pretty and reminds me of my summertime. everyday after i woke up and took a shower, i'd stand in my room, in front of the air conditioner, and listen to the hands cd religiously. it was the beginning of each day of summer last year for me.
Barcelona is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Awesome lyrics and a great melody. This is by far my favorite song by Jewel.
I'm not quite sure what exactly it is about this song that makes me love it so much, but it is definitely my favorite song off of the "Spirit" CD. My favorite thing to do is be in my car all by myself and sing this song at the top of my lungs. It kicks ass!
I like how this songs speak about breaking free (Let me fly) and it talks about the disparities in life like when she mentioned that graveyards have windows but not the churches. Very poignant statement in my opinion.

this song is very emotional. I love it!!! I think it has alot to do with feeling so alone that u feel u may aswell be in another country! I think it is about wanting to be loved cheers
