I think its about avoiding the ups and downs during the week. Its about sitting back and realizing the beauty in every day. It also might be a message to one of his girlfriends saying he'll still be around...
That instrument that comes on and off is intoxicating. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It puts everything in perspective. "Tell myself a new day is rising" thats what life is all about.
