Im surprised no one as commented on this song. It is a great song by my favorite musical artist, who i consider a direct descendant of god. This man grew up in a government yard in trenchtown which is a lot of land not big enough to house 2 yet alone his family. All this time the army or there form of it came on the street and shot innocent ppl without guns. What im leadin to is trench town rock shows how bob marley can make the pest of situations. He is my idol and knows what he is sayin. Hes better than everyone, hendrix too.

Bob Marley is a REAL role model, his spirit, it just transcends time and really hits you. I adore this song, just having a good time, forgetting the hard times and getting lost in the music. This song is definitive in its lyrics and sound of what music is all about.

Wow I must be crazy... but I honestly thought there were two meaning to the entire song! The obvious one was exactly what he said... about MUSIC....

the 2nd underlying meaning ... was about WEED!

man the good thing about Mr. Marley is that you needn´t try to search weed in every song of his cause it´s right behind his feelings anyway
