I've Just Seen a Face Lyrics
I can't forget the time or place where we met
She's just the girl for me
And I want the world to see we've met
Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way and
I'd have never been aware
But as it is I'll dream of her tonight
And she keeps calling me back again
I've been alone and I have missed things
And kept out of sight
But other girls were never quite like this
And she keeps calling me back again
And she keeps calling me back again
I can't forget the time or place where we met
She's just the girl for me
And I want the world to see we've met
And she keeps calling me back again
wow i didn't know that! This is a lovely song. i like the line 'had it been another day i might have looked the other way'. I believe that.
As someone who's currently falling for someone, this song is perfection.
I just love the beat of this song and how the lyrics just sort of follow each other without breaks. I think it's pretty genious how he did that without having them run into each other in a jumble. Very good job, Paul!
I think you're right - it's about love at first sight.
I love the acoustic feel and the fast pace. The way he rolls the words off his tongue without stuttering is amazing. Macca's sense of timing on this song is incredible.
I've always thought the chorus of this song (falling, yes I'm falling) sounds like a nice surpise. Not sure why, maybe it's because it goes from being a very good song to being a GREAT song once the chorus starts.
what a nice little tune. Help! is such an underrated album.
Every Beatles album is underrated.

There simply isn't enough time to laud them to the point they deserve.

hey, edge: ur thinkin of blackbird. just thought i should clear that up
yeah he wrote blackbird about black women...not this one even tho its a gret song
About love at first sight very under-rated Beatles song
Yeah, this is a pretty cute song. Its pretty self explanitory though.
Oh, one more thing. The song title. Sure, we all take it for granted now (especially if you've heard it as many times as I have) but it's really an unusual title for a long song, no? Not what one would usually expect for a title. Weird. Quirky. I love it.
