i love this song, she has such a beautiful voice. i don't really know what it means though...

To me its talking of losing someone who was close to you. You can't see why you're not as close and this upsets you, then half way through the song is the realisation that there are other people around you too and you have to focus on what you have and not what you dont. Keep going forwards and don't dwell in the past.

brilliant song. to me it's all about procrastination, and isolation. living for the moment. 'i dont like to see dreams put on the shelf', also she tells about herself 'i believe in for today', 'i cant press rewind' , ' i only have this one second'. I think shes worried about someone who needs to stop procrasinating. 'i just want to know youre ok' breathe in now, you're alive, do it now, dont put your dreams elsewhere for tomorrow.....

it's a pretty song

i listened to this heaps after i lost someone, and i think it is about someone who has died. you stand there but you do not cast a shadow. but then i wonder if it's about someone who just never makes an impression, never speaks their mind.... i really have no idea! i'll stick with the lost someone bit.

it's hard to analysize songs you haven't written yourself and when it comes to this song i think everyone brings there own experiences to it and there isn't one clear cut meaning. this song helps me unwind after a shit-filled week or day. it makes me cry and makes me smile. for me it's about believing in yourself and that you can't go back and change the past but you have a certain amount of control over the future, you just have to find the courage to step forward and make something of it.

i also (after reading the lyrics again) think the song is about someone who has physcological problems ie Anorexia or even someone who has/ tried to commit suicide. About losing a friend... seeing their downward spiral and not being able to do anything about it...

yeh! go unky ruly! i so think the same as u!...but also i think there is still that whole "live life now" type attitude comin thru..i like that..i love george! they are an inspiration to me...their vocals are captivating and pierce right thru me every time i listen to every one of their songs...ok i'm being real corny now! :) ;)

this song is so beautiful.. and i know many people have said it is about problems and suicide etc.. but i think it really has a message of hope as well.. about her recognising the beauty in the world everywhere at the same time as people are hurting.. and yep, i agree, a real live in the moment type song.. so divine.
