I love this song so much. I also relate to it in a very strong way. There was some big fiasco between a friend and I and I hated her for so long and then we tried being friends again and then it got messed up again and then I moved and it gave me room to hate her because I wasn't around but even though I'm miles and miles away I've tried to fix things. (Now that I have shared my life with the world...)

You have to admire the singer that she's able to forget all the bad stuff that occurred and wants to start a friendship again.
i love this song, and i think it's totally tongue-in-cheek. she describes all these horrible things in vivid detail, but then says how it's all in the past. i also really love the cruelty implied in the lyrics contrasted with the super-sweet way this song is sung.
