Cosmic Weed Lyrics

Running all the time
and knowing time is running out
and knowing all what time's about

Dreaming all those dreams so evil
so evil are the dreams we dream tonight
But the man in the moon sits tight, and he says:

"Come, come and try some cosmic weed
and glance a world so strange indeed"

Fading little ones
not knowing they soon fade away
the tiny mushroom houses of yesterday

Dreaming all those dreams so evil
so evil are the dreams they dream tonight
But the man in the moon he smiles, and he says:

"Come, come and try some cosmic weed
and glance a world so strange indeed"

Knowing there's no evil down where I go
Knowing there's no evil tonight
Knowing there's no evil down where I go to find it all out

"Come, come and try some cosmic weed
and glance a world so strange indeed"

"Come, come and try some cosmic weed and glance a world so strange indeed" This song seams to be about smoking marijuana. Loosing yourself to it ("not knowing they soon fade away"), and using it to excape your reality. (not that any of that is necessarily bad thing)

Im with you in this one.. funny how they have these little details. Man in sitting in the moon, is that somewhere where you cant reach although you wanted, or is it just a place to observe the "world strange indeed". About the "reality" - running and stuff. It begins to annoy me how some of these bands constantly take it that time for life is running out and then you die , oh lets be so sad cry . get a grip ffs.
