The song is very catchy. It's pretty obvious it's about two people cheating on each other. This isn't really an empowering song, it's more of just the story from the side of the woman and her excuses for what she's doing.
It's a song about a person who doesn't want to let go of something that is no longer there. It's rather a sad song, as it shows that she does not value herself enough to leave someone like that.
