I'll Still Write Lyrics
I feel fine
I think I'm on the mend
Things are looking up these days
Since you came
So please don't cry
You know it's not your style
You just do this kind of thing
Do you now?
I won't let this fail
So please don't bail
There's pitfalls in bed
But either way...
I meant what I said
Can't stop now
But trying to cut down
We'll sit and drink till we don't make
Any sense
Cos that's what I do
You know I don't mean it
It's just the way I am
Weak and easy
I won't let this fail
So please don't bail
There's pitfalls in bed
But either way...
I meant what I said
But I'll still write though
Even if you do go
I think I'm on the mend
Things are looking up these days
Since you came
You know it's not your style
You just do this kind of thing
Do you now?
So please don't bail
There's pitfalls in bed
But either way...
I meant what I said
But trying to cut down
We'll sit and drink till we don't make
Any sense
You know I don't mean it
It's just the way I am
Weak and easy
So please don't bail
There's pitfalls in bed
But either way...
I meant what I said
Even if you do go

I love this song...too bad it's not on an album of them. The meaning...hm...I guess it's about a friendship or about a love. His life became good when this person came (though it seems like they are both not pleased with their life ("We'll sit and drink till we don't make any sense")), but he fears that this will be over again sometime. But even if this happens, he will go on.
