when the light of chosen has died it is time to pay back for their crimes It then says "Imposter!" at the end.

The song is about alcoholism but it also speaks about the drink taking away the memories and worries of the past. Nepenthe, I believe, is a drug that causes people to forget stuff. And "catharsis" oftens refers to using artwork, music, or whatever as a way to overcome certain feelings.

In this case, it would refer using alcohol to overcome problems in the past.

when the light of the chosen has died I guess this is referring to alcohol as the "chosen". I see the "light of the chosen" as being the appeal that alcohol has on the drinker. Thus, there comes a point when alcohol loses it's touch and then they realised they're helplessly hooked or something. Sentenced might have had something else in mind tho.

Interesting. I always thought he said "You bastards!!!" at the end. The Finnish accent is tricky.
