He will be the one who loves in a relation, no matter her feelings. The word "Craving", describes the attitud of search and desire of drugs in drug-dependent people. With this in mind, I think that having her near him, he felt released of his "craving". I don't find the meaning of "brath", so, I think is "breath"... He don't need to breath because he rather be with her. It's about a really self-destructive relation. This Charon singer live with a lot of suffer inside... or he identify really well with this kind of feelings.
