I haven't heard this song in a while, but once i heard it the words really hit me hard because of my current situation / bone headedness (most accurate / intellectual word i could think of). Especially "and so it's true pride comes before a fall" I can't even begin to think how true this is; how we know our pride will get us in trouble, but sometimes we ignore what is inevitable because of our instant feelings of pride.

i don't think its about his mom... i think its just about a relationship... just a song to make the group a bit more "unhappy".. but i must admit, AMAZING song.. i love it.. no matter what any1 says. i think its one of their bests... and i do have high standards

I wish it would mean that the dumper is singing this song and is realizing he is such a freaking loser for letting a great girl go. Oh well, it's probably the other way around.
